Job Summary

Ensures that clients’ expectations for site maintenance and service are being met — or exceeded — by managing, coordinating and monitoring the performance of the maintenance crew(s) assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Site Quality Control

  • Conduct before and after inspections of sites
  • Perform pruning and weed control as needed
  • Identify insect and disease issues and report of Mgr. of Field Operations
  • Drive truck and trailer to sites
  • Assist crew in completion of required tasks

Employee Supervision

  • Oversee proper safety equipment, personal protective equipment, and safe practices are being followed
  • Conduct “onsite” training
  • Prioritize the day’s work and assign to techs
  • Work with Mgr. of Field Operations on production planning and scheduling

Client Communication

  • Address questions or issues from client
  • Review site with client
  • Update client on status of site
  • Report issues or concerns to Mgr. of Field Operations

Administrative Duties

  • Complete time sheets
  • Complete VIR reports
  • Pre-trip truck and trailer
  • Fuel equipment and dump debris
  • Clean truck and trailer
  • Red-tag damaged or broken equipment
  • Track efficiencies and post on job board
  • Assist in scheduling meetings
  • Attend and participate in weekly training

Snow Removal and Off-Season

  • Either supervise a snow route or be a salt truck driver in winter operations
  • Perform minor maintenance of equipment, trucks, and trailers to be ready for next season
